I dislike noise, so if you're noisy, that's probably why i dislike you.

"'Life can be so hard.' I said, moved,
'Yes, but if a person hasn't ever experienced true despair,
she grows old never knowing how to evaluate where she is in life;
never understanding what joy really is. I'm grateful for it."

"No matter what, I want to continue living with the awareness that I will die.
Without that, I am not alive."

-Banana Yoshimoto's novella Kitchen

 some are halves,
looking for other halves
with corresponding shapes,
seeking keys to unlock chests,
with unreliable maps.

some are holes
looking to fill the void
with something compact and organic
like dirt.

while others are whole.
strong and potent individuals
but very hollow inside.
their hearts echo.
empty.

I believe everyone has the right to know when i need to pee =)

*peeing*

i do not like sparkles, tinsels, and glitter. i am not a boy, i do not like shiny things. i do not like the color blue and white. i do not like unnecessary noises like whistling and tuneless humming. i hate mainstream music. most of it is just noise. i do not like cold food. i take extra time just to warm it. i do not like mornings and vents. i dislike liars. i do not like materialistic people because i feel stupid talking to plastic. i was very unkind to my barbie dolls as a child. i do not like brand names because they are overpriced and styleless. i don't like movie theaters. there is always that obnoxious girl, the couple that makes out, and the guy who has bad body odor. i can't believe i paid to be there. uh, i hate sweat pants. oh, and bare feet. i don't like alcohol. it makes people stupid. i can be that way without it. i hate commercials. and killing movies. and animal abuse. and UV rays. and angst. and adult acne. and my compulsive desire to pick up the trash on the sidewalk. boys, i do not like very much. they're kinda hot though 27.3% of the time. the lack of toilet paper. mother nature's monthly gift. i hate lines to anywhere. cafeteria food drenched in cheese and grease. dirty dishes. i hate it when i swear. eye bags. cheap, broken things. there must be a cycle of inadequacy. you buy, then buy more with an excuse that there is something missing or insufficient with what you bought, then you buy more. i didn't like sleeping beauty. neither do i like stale chocolate. i'm not a fan of cheese and curry either. i hate it when strangers look at you creepily. i do not make eye contact. it's looking into the windows of my soul! what's "mohair"? isn't that goat hair? i dislike real fur. it's horrible how they attained it. i also don't like being the third wheel, they should learn how to ride bikes. i think cats lack personality, personally.

*done peeing*

I drank lots of water.
I use the term pee for rant, because peeing is voiding toxins in the body, similar to ranting.

OH WOE

The sea will sing
in stormy swells,
a song forewarning,
of a love to end
tomorrow’s dawning.

As the castle bells
begin their chime,
across the land
tolls mournful curse-

when his ring will find
another hand
that isn’t hers.

Infinity in Finity.

"To be impossible is almost a contradiction in terms.
If something is impossible, it cannot be. So how can we speak of being impossible at all?
Impossibility does not exist because it cannot exist.
The impossible is a species of nothing.
And if impossible is nothing, then surely nothing is impossible."

nothing but tiny lights

There are about 2x10^11 stars in the Milky Way galaxy.
As there are about 1x10^11 galaxies in the universe, perhaps averaging 1x10^11 stars per each,
that makes the number of stars in the universe roughly 1x10^22.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Parents, Teachers, Friends, and Fellow graduates,

Today, we graduate.
Today, we leave our mark on the walls, our fingerprints against the desks, and
kick off our shoes for the succeeding generations to fill.

What have we done? What will we become?
During the past four years, we have plowed through the endless nights of homework, we have suffered from the continual stresses of tests and , and groggily managed to stay awake in class. We have stretched forth our arms in hopes of reaching our maximum potential and strived to overcome our obstacles.

SOON WE'LL BE FOUND - SIA

Come along it is the break of day
Surely now, you'll have some things to say
It's not the time for telling tales on me

So come along, it wont be long
'Til we return happy
Shut your eyes, there are no lies
In this world we call sleep
Let's desert this day of hurt
Tomorrow we'll be free

Let's not fight I'm tired can't we just sleep tonight
Don't Turn away it's just there's nothing left here to say
Turn around I know we're lost but soon we'll be found

Well it's been rough but we'll be just fine
Work it out yeah we'll survive
You mustn't let a few bad times dictate

So come along, it wont be long
'Til we return happy
Shut your eyes, there are no lies
In this world we call sleep
Let's desert this day of work
Tomorrow we'll be free

Let's not fight I'm tired can't we just sleep tonight
Don't turn away it's just there's nothing left here to say
Turn around I know we're lost but soon we'll be found

I SPENT TWO THOUSAND AND NINE WISHES ON SLEEP

once I turn back around to the old days
and I saw what I'd found of my old ways
couldn't stop thinking about all the old flames
that I burned and gone out down the wrong way

such a long time; the streets all decide if you're gone or your mine
so tell me about where youv'e been,
where you're going, where you'll be
how will i know it ?
how on earth do we ever help ourselves?

and you told me about not belonging and you left
little doubt what you wanted
didn't think i could help, deep and wondering,
all my friends broken down and forgotten.

such a long time, the streets all decide if you're gone or your mine
so tell me about where youv'e been,
where you're going, where you'll be
how will i know it ?
how on earth do we ever help ourselves?

call it off
tell me why you lie
from the start you should have known alright
you missed your stop but i don't mind
you're moving on away.

"Let's go back just with
words to the time by the lake
before my life felt like
someone's cruel test and tell
me that God keeps his miracles
locked up and pockets of pills
will release them, I don't
think that you can release
Me

Now miss me bad or I swear
there will be hell to pay
Love me, darling, you better or else. Take a
picture put it on the hood of your
car and drive to places that
we've never been. And Tell me
that God keeps his miracles locked
up and pockets of pills will
release them. "

"We value love not because it's stronger than death but because it's weaker. Say what you want about love: death will finish it. You will not go on loving in the grave, not in any physical way that will at all resemble love as we know it on earth. The perishable nature of love is what gives love its profound importance in our lives. If it were endless, if it were on tap, love wouldn't hit us the way it does"
- JEFFREY EUGENIDES, from the introduction to My Mistress's Sparrow is Dead

in life there is no background music, but we could always pretend

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend your cool...just type it in man!

A LIGHT IN AN ATTIC

There' a light in the attic,
Though the house is dark and shuttered,
I can see a flickerin' flutter,
And I know what it' about.
There 's a light on in the attic,
I can see it from the outside,
And I know you're on the inside ... lookin' out

- Shel Silverstien

Words of Wisdom and Theoretical Questions

Part I

Love is cycle...
When you love,
You get hurt.
When you get hurt,
You hate.
When you hate,
You try to forget.
When you try to forget,
you start missing.
And when you start missing,
Eventually,
You fall in love
again!

(damn this reality)

Part II
(think really hard)

i) If a hippo is dropped in the middle of the ocean, is a whale fat?
ii) If here is there, and there is nowhere, then where are we?
iii) Why do the people we love from afar, don't loves within close proximity?
